Chennai: AICC member Karti P Chidambaram, who was recently issued a showcause notice by TNCC for taking a new initiative G-67 and for his alleged remarks against the party, has tweeted that he saw a "sign" after the Aam Aadmi Party secured 67 seats in the Delhi Assembly polls.

"#AAPSweep 67 seats, I am a superstitious guy, perhaps there is a sign in the numbers! G67 Ummm," Karti has tweeted.

He had tweeted last month, "My new mantra G67 to make TN1."

Karti, son of former Union Minister P Chidambaram, was earlier issued a showcause notice by TNCC president E V K S Elangovan, seeking explanation for his remarks against the party and for taking a new initiative termed G-67 involving party workers, without seeking approval from the high command. 'G-67' is a reference to those born after 1967, the year in which Congress lost power in the state.

Elangovan had termed it as "anti-party activity and groupism".
