Mumbai: The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation was done waiting for Bollywood star Shah Rukh Khan to pull down the illegal ramp constructed outside his Bandra bungalow ‘Mannat’. The civic body sought police protection while they began work on demolishing the extension early this morning.

King Khan was served a notice last week, to remove the ramp that was built for his huge vanity van (often seen parked in that space).
As the actor himself had taken no action, the BMC had taken the task to break down the extension. The actor may even have to shell out a monetary sum, as a fine for not complying with the notice.
The civic body’s decision came after MP Poonam Mahajan wrote to municipal commissioner Sitaram Kunte on the matter on January 29.
