Watch: 'Crimson Peak' trailer has Tom Hiddleston among the gothic and supernatural

 

Set in 19th century England, Crimson Peak is the story of a young woman , who falls for a charming but mysterious man and moves into his childhood mansion, where he now lives with his sister. 

 

The film stars Tom Hiddleston as Thomas Sharpe, a mysterious 19th century gentleman who marries marries a young, exquisite author named Edith Cushing, played by Mia Wasikowska. 

 

 

Guillermo del Toro's film represents a return to the ultra-stylistic horror-leaning genre that we last saw him visit with 2008’s 'Hellboy II: The Golden Army'.

 

'Crimson Peak' also stars Charlie Hunnam and is set to hit theaters in the US on October 16th, just in time for Halloween.
