Oil Ministry leak: Reliance admits one of its staffers detained

New Delhi: RIL said it has launched a “robust internal probe” into detention of one of its employees by the police in connection with alleged official document theft in the oil ministry.
Responding to news that one of its staff had been detained in the investigation on the leak of documents, a Reliance company official said, “It has been brought to our notice that one personnel has been detained by law-enforcement authorities. We are unaware of more details. As per SOP, a robust internal probe is underway.” The matter is under investigation as per law and RIL is are determined to cooperate in every possible manner.
"No information in the said ministry is of commercial consequence to us, we are in Arbitration and our only expectation is an expeditious resolution in line with our legal rights and contentions," he said.
