Panel to allot staff to Telangana, Andhra Pradesh from Saturday

Committee will give two weeks to the employees to file their objections

Hyderabad: After an exercise lasting eight months the C.R. Kamalanathan committee will issue a notification on Saturday dividing employees of seven departments between AP and Telangana according to the options given by them.

The committee will give two weeks to the employees to file their objections and then it will issue the final notification.

The committee will first allot employees of the commerce and export promotion wing, information technology, district gazetteers department, offices of the director of prosecutions, director of sericulture, director of handlooms and textiles and the commissioner of minority welfare department. The total number of employees in these departments will be around 400.
