Former South African skipper divorced Irish wife Morgan Deane

Johannesburg: Former South African skipper Graeme Smith and his Irish wife Morgan Deane have decided to end their three-and-a-half year old marriage.

According to Sport24 news, family legal representative David Becker, on behalf of Graeme and Morgan Smith, said that Graeme and Morgan were unfortunately divorcing. Becker added that this was a private matter and the couple would ask that their privacy was respected during this time, both for the sake of themselves and their children.

The South African skipper however, was busy in Melbourne to support the Proteas as they take on India in their next match on Sunday.

Smith tied the knot to Deane in Cape Town in August 2011. The former couple have two children together.

Here's a look a some of the good times the couple along with their family spent together.

On December 11, Graeme Smith and Morgan visited the Red Cross War Memorial Children’s hospital in South Africa.

Morgan too shared a picture on Twitter when the they headed out to Knysna, a town in the Western Cape Province of South Africa.

The news of the couple's reported split was quite surprising as the both of them shared very good chemistry. This picture Graeme shared on their third wedding anniversary in August last year.

Graeme and Morgan have shared memorable times on the Cape moutains.
