There is a strong buzz that the move was due to her impending nuptials with beau Ranbir Kapoor that will, in all probability, take place next year. Word is that the actress wants to take a break from work to focus on the wedding and dedicate some time to her personal life.
A source from Disney confirmed that Kat had indeed returned the signing amount. About the wedding, a member from Katrina’s team said, “Rumours about Kat’s wedding have been doing the rounds for a long time now, but I don’t see how it should affect her work.”
The buzz about Ranbir-Kat’s 2016 wedding first started when after the success of Dhoom 3 and Bang Bang, Katrina didn’t go on a signing spree. But whether there’s any truth to it, only time will tell.
