LucknowWell-known Shia cleric and vice-president of the All India Muslim Personal Law Board, Maulana Kalbe Sadiq has said that Pakistan should be better known as ‘Papistan’ (land of sinners)  because of the violence being perpetuated on innocent people there.
 
Speaking at a function in Lucknow, the cleric said, “Pakistan is no longer Pakistan (land of the pious) — it has become Papistan as killings are taking place almost every other day.
 
He said, “when humanity becomes sick, it produces people like Asaram in India and when the same happens in Pakistan, Hafiz Saeed and Mullah Umar are born.”
