Novak Djokovic all for on court antics
World No.1 tennis player said that bottling up his anger would only eat him up in the long run
World No.1 tennis player Novak Djokovic has defended his on court antics, saying that bottling up his anger would only eat him up in the long run. In a pre-recorded appearance on Serbian state television, Djokovic also confirmed that he would lead Serbia in their March 6-8 Davis Cup first-round home clash with traditional rivals Croatia.
Djokovic claimed that mangling his racket and an odd swearword on the court is not something he is proud of and it shouldn’t happen, but insisted that even his coaches have told him that it’s sometimes better to let it all out, the anger inside a person, because keeping it bottled would just eat them up in the long term, Sport24 reported. The Serb said that sometimes his emotions might seem unacceptable but added that that's him.
