Motorola Moto E (2nd Gen) 3G handsets to go on sale tonight; 4G variant will sell in two months

Moto E (2nd Gen) 3G and 4G LTE smartphones run on Android 5.0 Lollipop OS

Motorola unveiled the Motorola  Moto E (2nd Gen) 4G LTE and 3G variants on February 25, 2015. Moto E features a 4.5-inch qHD display with Anti-smudge coating, Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection and a pixel resolution of 245 ppi. The Moto E 4G LTE and 3G models is powered by 1.2 GHz quad-core CPU, with Adreno 306 and 400MHz GPU and runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop OS. 

The company has officially made an announcement that its 3G model, which is priced at Rs 6,999 will be available in India from tonight. The price of the 4G LTE device hasn't been revealed yet, but will be available in the next two months. 

Motorola  Moto E (2nd Gen) comes with a nano coating for protecting the handset from water on the outside and inside. The only difference between the two variants is that the 4G LTE is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor and its 3G variant is equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 processor. The newly launched Moto E 3G and 4G LTE handsets offer 1GB of RAM and 8GB of storage capacity. 

Additionally, the storage capacity of this handset can be expandable up to 32GB via microSD.These Moto E handsets sport a 5MP rear/ VGA front-facing camera and fuelled with a 2390mAh battery, which claims to last up to 24 hours. On the connectivity front, the Moto E 3G and LTE models support Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0LE, GPS/ A-GPS and GLONASS.
