Lucknow: A buffalo has once again sent the UP police into a tizzy and this time it does not even belong to any minister. A buffalo that went missing last week and was later traced by the police in Gosainganj area on the outskirts of Lucknow now has two people claiming her ownership. It has now been decided to conduct a DNA test of the buffalo and two calves to settle the dispute.
According to police, two neighbours, Ram Bachan and Avadh, lodged a complaint saying that their buffalo was stolen. Two days later, the police found a buffalo and both the men claimed its ownership.
The police decided to set the buffalo free so that it could find its own master’s house. However, it sat down in the police station itself. The police then asked the two men to feed the buffalo but it refused food from both of them.
