No mosque possible in Ayodhya: Yogi Adityanath
Adityanath was responding to questions on the proposal for a dual shrine at the dispute site in Ayodhya
Lucknow: BJP MP form Gorakhpur, Mahant Yogi Adityanath has ruled out the proposal for an out-of-court settlement with regard to the Ayodhya issue.
He said that just as there could not be a temple in Mecca or in the Vatican City, there was no possibility of a mosque in Ayodhya. He said that Ayodhya, the land of Sanatan Dharma, was a sacred city since it is the birthplace of Lord Ram.
Adityanath was responding to questions on the proposal for a dual shrine at the dispute site in Ayodhya. “Hashim Ansari (main litigant in the case) and Mahant Gyan Das (Akhara Parishad head) are making statements they should not be making.
They should first understand the sentiments of millions of Hindus before making such uncalled for statements,” he said.
