HTC finally unveils HTC One M9 at MWC 2015
The most-awaited HTC One M9 features a 20MP camera
HTC has finally unveiled the most-awaited flagship handset-HTC One M9 at the MWC 2015 in Barcelona. The company claims that the HTC One M9 is an upgraded device added to the HTC One series and carries the 3rd generation smartphone design.
The newly-launched HTC One M9 features a 5-inch (1080x1920 pixels) Super LCD 3 capacitive touchscreen display and is powered by Snapdragon 810 processor, coupled with 3GB of RAM. The screen of the smartphone comes with Corning Gorilla Glass 4 protection. This flagship model offers 32GB of in-built storage capacity, which can also be expandable up to 128GB via microSD card.
As leaked out earlier,the body of HTC's newly launched high-end device is made of metal and its gold-coloured edges.
HTC One M9 runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop operating system. Ambient light, proximity, accelerometer, gyroscope and sensor hub are the other features. On the camera front, the HTC One (M9) features a 20MP rear shooter and 4MP 'UltraPixel' front-facing camera. Additionally. HTC also claimed that the dual front-facing speakers can deliver a better audio quality.
The HTC One M9 supports Bluetooth 4.1, Wi-Fi 802.11a/b/g/n/ac, NFC, GLONASS, GPS/ A-GPS, Micro-USB, GPRS/ EDGE, 3G, and LTE on its connectivity front. The HTC One M9 weighs around 157 grams and is fuelled with a 2840mAh Li-Po non-removable battery. HTC One M9 will be available in four colours -Silver, Gunmetal Grey, Pink, and Gold.
