MWC 2015: Gionee unveils Elife S7 with 13MP camera

Gionee Elife S7 runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop operating system

Gionee finally unveiled its new flagship handset of 2015 - Elife S7 at the MWC 2015 in Barcelona on March 2. The company claims that this newly introduced device is one of the slimmest device added to the Elife S series.

The Elife S7 handset features a 5.2-inch AMOLED display with a Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection and the thickness measures up to 5.5mm. Dual 4G LTE handset is powered by a 64-bit Octa-core processor and runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop, offering a new Amigo 3.0 interface. It offers 2GB of RAM and 16GB of built-in storage capacity.

 

On its camera front, Gionee Elife S7 also sports a 13MP rear shooter and 8MP front-facing camera . Gionee also claims that an improved version of beauty mode feature has been added to its camera. Its night mode engine of Image+ allows the device to capture photos in about 1 second. One can also adjust the brightness and image noise. Additionally, its CharmCam features have been updated.

Gionee Elife S7 also sports a 8MP front-facing camera, which can capture a decent quality of selfie photos. With the Face beauty 3.0 technology, it allows the device to estimate peoples' gender and age. The Elfe S7 smartphone is fuelled by a 2750mAh battery.
