Farah Khan introduces Bollywood to her new friend Ed Sheeran

Mumbai: After taking Mumbai over by storm with his powerful one-man show on Sunday, international singer Ed Sheeran spent the rest of his night mingling with some of the industry’s biggest names at the Bachchan’s residence.

According to a report in Absolute India, it was director Farah Khan who introduced the ‘Sing’ hit-maker to her close friend Abhishek Bachchan. A source confirmed that Farah knows Ed through her cousin Zubin Irani, who is a music lawyer in London.

The report also stated that Ed visited the sets of Farah’s cooking show ‘Farah Ki Daawat’ after the concert. It is uncertain if the singer will be making an appearance on the show.

Farah even took to Twitter to share some pictures with Ed. She posted, “Aaj ka photos---yeh lo!! My old friend @juniorbachchan n my new 1 ED Sheeran.. Ek puppy toh Banti hain.”

Ed is not the first international star that the Bachchans have had over to their plush bungalow. They also played host to Oprah Winfrey when she visited the city a few years ago.
