Mumbai: Sonam Kapoor’s second hospitalisation in a month has made Anil Kapoor a very worried father. The first time when she had to be hospitalised, on February 8, was due to a respiratory problem aggravated by the heat and dust on the sets of Sooraj Barjatya’s Prem Ratan Dhan Payo. She again fell ill on the sets of the same film, this time with a far more serious infection.

Says one of her co-actors, “We were in Rajkot when Sonam started showing symptoms of Swine Flu. We were sure it was just an ordinary flu. But then the tests proved our worst fears right. But she was okay. Very much in control and not at all fussy. In fact, Sooraj Ji was far more worried than she was. Even when an air ambulance flew her back to Mumbai from Rajkot, Sonam was calm and controlled.”

Sonam’s parents and sister have been keeping a constant vigil on her health at the Kokilabehn Hospital in Mumbai. When contacted Anil Kapoor said, “She’s better now. But she’ll be under observations for a few days.” Sonam is expected to be out of hospital by the end of this week. It will be a subdued Holi for the Kapoors this year.
