RSS ‘bachelors’ unfit to call for more kids: Akbaruddin Owaisi
'Before giving such advice, they should guarantee jobs and education'
Hyderabad: Terming the Sangh Parivar a “Bachelors’ Club”, MIM Floor Leader in Telangana Assembly Akbaruddin Owaisi on Monday said the RSS leaders had no right to ask Hindu women to give birth to four or five children. Criticising the statements of BJP MP Sakshi Maharaj and other RSS leaders, who urged women to give birth to at least four or five children, he said, “It’s amazing such an advice is coming from bachelors. Before giving such advice, they should guarantee jobs and education.”
He said Majlis –e- Ittehadul Muslimeen was revived on March 2, 1958 by Maulvi Abdul Wahed Owaisi (eminent lawyer) and he renamed it as All India Majlis e Ittehadul Muslimeen and converted it into a political party to protect the right of the minorities enshrined into the Indian constitution .
Maintaining that the RSS has played no role in the freedom movement and RSS is responsible for assassination of Mahatma Gandhi, the MIM leader said “it is most unfortunate in bringing a GO by the Centre permitting government employees to join the RSS.”
He said that MIM would contest forthcoming Assembly elections in Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal, Karnataka and other States.
