Sony, the Japanese tech giant who is alleged to be quitting the smartphone market, took the wraps off the world’s lightest tablet, which weighs just 383 grams. The Xperia Z Tablet is a 10.1-inch Android tablet and sports a 2K display, boasting of a whopping 17 hour battery life.  The Z4 Tablet is built on the predecessor success, the Z2 Tablet, which sports a slim profile and boasts of a waterproof and dustproof 6.1mm sleek body.

The Xperia Z4 Tablet is built using Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 2GHz octa-core 64 bit processor with an Adreno 430 graphics engine and 3GB of RAM. It sports a 2K (2560x1600 pixels) display at 10.1-inches, with a scratch-resistant glass and anti fingerprint coating. The Z4 Tablet is available in two variants—Wi-Fi and LTE. Built with 32GB of internal storage (expandable to 128GB) and a powerful 6000mAh battery, the Z4 boasts of a whopping 17-hour battery life with continuous video playback. Additionally Xperia Z4 Tablet also features printer and projector outputs to complete the ultimate laptop-style experience.

The Xperia Z4 Tablet also features an 8MP main camera, and a 5.1MP wide-angle front camera. Additional features also include high-res audio that reproduces high frequency sound for a studio quality experience suing DSEE HXTM processing. The tablet comes loaded with Android 5.0 Lollipop.

The Xperia Z4 Tablet measures 254x167x 6.1 mm (WxHxD) and weighs just 389 grams.
