Anushka Sharma's 'NH10' passes Censor Board with 'A' certificate
The film will most likely hit theatres in the next week
Mumbai: Anushka Sharma was hanging by a thread, waiting for the fate of her maiden production ‘NH10’. After debating whether to pass the film with a few cuts and an Adult certificate or not pass it at all, the Revising Committee of the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) decided to clear the film with an ‘A’ certificate, according to reports.
The film has been passed with a few audio cuts and video cuts. Reports state that the scenes that did go under the axe, were 'unimportant' and didn't affect the plot or story line of the film.
All seems to be well now after the film's release was pushed back by a few weeks. A source connected to the film says, “The team has already faced heavy losses in the publicity department. Earlier, it was supposed to release on March 6 but was later postponed to March 13."
The trailer of the film that was released last month, had a string of cuss words, most of which have now been included in the Censor Board's long list of offensive words.
