Shashi Tharoor refers to AAP while raking up 'inner-party democracy'
Tharoor's remarks came after 2 leaders were dropped from AAP’s Political Affairs panel
New Delhi: Shashi Tharoor, who was dropped as Congress spokesperson for praising Prime Minister Narendra Modi, on Thursday flagged the issue of "inner-party democracy" as he latched on to developments in AAP.
"AAP developments one more indication of how difficult inner-party democracy is. Where does freedom of expression become disloyalty to party?," Tharoor said on Twitter.

Tharoor's remarks came a day after senior AAP leaders Prashant Bhushan and Yogendra Yadav, who were on a collision course with party Convenor Arvind Kejriwal, were yesterday dropped from the Political Affairs Committee of the party, bringing out in the open internal power struggle.
The former Union minister and Thiruvananthapuram MP was removed as party spokesperson in October last year. The party has distanced itself from his views a number of times in past. However, Tharoor has been expressing his views on different issues, sometimes stretching the boundary of the party line.
