Mumbai: After tickling funny bones with their quirky ‘Mauka’ ads, the World Cup 2015 broadcasters Star Sports launched a new commercial ahead of India’s tie against Ireland on March 10.

And while many expected, it would target Ireland, the makers sprang a surprise and took a dig at Pakistan side.

The ‘Mauka’ makers created a solid build up for the new ad, showing ‘Mauka’ man roaming around the streets of Mumbai, asking directions to strangers, crossing maidans before ending up in a restaurant with a box of firecrackers.

Before the latest 'Mauka' ad, the West Indian team was asked to focus on playing with colours on a Holi-day World Cup tie, instead of thinking about bursting firecrackers.
