HTC to offer free units of HTC One M9

HTC unveiled its flagship handset - HTC One M9 at the MWC 2015 in Barcelona on March 1. The Approximate Retail Value (ARV) of One M9 on the HTC (US) website is listed down as $599 (approximately Rs 37,401).

However, it seems like the company is always ready to surprise its fans!

HTC plans to offer free units of HTC One M9 to some lucky individuals. All you need to do is register yourself on the official website of HTC. This offer is valid for individuals who are 18 years and above.

Media reports state that HTC will be giving away five One M9 smartphones in a sweepstakes contest offer. The last date for registration is March 24. Winners will be randomly selected by the company and notified on March 25 via email. However, as per the terms and conditions of HTC, only US residents will be allowed to win a free One M9 smartphone.

HTC One M9 features a 5-inch (1080x1920 pixels) display and is powered by Snapdragon 810 processor. It offers 3GB of RAM, 32GB of in-built storage capacity, that is expandable up to 128GB via microSD card. The handset sports a 20MP rear/4MP 'UltraPixel' front-facing camera.

Pre-orders for the HTC One M9 smartphone have started on the official HTC store in Germany, which carries a price tag of 750 Euros.

There’s no official announcement regarding the launch date of HTC One M9 in the Indian market yet. However, media reports speculate the flagship One M9 to be priced below Rs 50,000 in India.
