Worldwide, March 8 is recognized as the International Womens’ Day, and celebrating the spirit of all the amazing women, its all over the Internet how special they are, and indeed, every bit of it is true. However, there is a reason why they are so special, and that is their art of tackling and organising so many things simultaneously, that no one else can do like them. So we thought, we should do our bit for the lovely women, and we came up with a list of smartphone apps that may add some fun to their special day.

  1. Shopping apps

?

Not to generalise the idea of ‘if you are a woman, you must love to shop’, but then who doesn’t like new and shiny things. And life becomes so much easier when you can buy and order stuff on the go, be it new shoes, a new cocktail dress, or grocery. Some of the popular apps for the purpose would be Myntra, Flipkart, Limeroad or Jabong, these offers a large variety of products. If you run out of balance, apps like Paytm and FreeCharge are also a great help.

  1. Dating and socializing apps

There is no doubt that a woman needs no one to lead a happy life. However, it is always nice to have a person around who you can cherish your happy life with, be it a friend or that “someone special”. Facebook, Tinder, Google Hangouts, Snapchat and Instagram are some of the popular apps where you may socialise with new people or connect with your old friends.

  1. Fitness apps

Nothing is more important than our ladies being healthy and fit. And health and fitness apps really come in handy when you need to keep a log of your workout progress, or to maintain the dates for that time of the month. Apps like Nike+, Calories Counter, Period Tracker, Lunacycle, Clue are some apps for the same purpose.

  1. Beauty and grooming apps

We know how new fashion comes and leaves, and its not such an easy task to keep up with it. For the women who sleep, walk, breathe and talk fashion, there are apps that let you preview a look on yourself, and keep you up to date with the latest fad in town. Apps like Sephora, TheGlamApp, Makeup Genius by Loreal Paris, let you virtually experiment with your look.

  1. Cooking apps

We hate the stereotype of women being associated with the kitchen, because we know a lot of women who completely resent cooking. And cooking apps are a great help for both women who love and dislike the idea of cooking and baking. Cookpad recipes, Big Oven, Lunch Box are some apps that can help you hack the art of cooking!

We hope these apps help you ease up your busy schedules. Team Deccan Chronicle wishes all the women a successful, healthy and happy future. More power to you ladies!
