9 child labourers rescued from commercial establishments in Nacharam

Hyderabad: Labour department officials rescued nine child labourers from commercial establishments in Nacharam and other places on the outskirts. 
 
Meanwhile, the Jharkhand police has sought details from the Telangana labour department about the New Delhi-based recruiting agency which brought child labourers from Jharkhand to Hyderabad. A police team from Ranchi will investigate the trafficking. According to labour officials the nine kids were rescued from various shops.
 
“The kids under the age of 14 were employed in shops at Nacharam, AS Rao Nagar and Maula Ali. We sent them to the boys’ home at Saidabad,” said deputy commissioner of labour Naresh Kumar.
