SSC exams begin from March 25 in Telangana
About 5.65 lakh students from 10,978 schools will sit for exams this year
Hyderabad: The SSC Class X exams will begin in Telangana state on March 25. About 5.65 lakh students from 10,978 schools in the state will sit for exams this year. A total of 2,383 centres have been marked for the exams.
Barring the second language exam, where students will get 15 extra minutes, all other exams will be held between 9.30 am and 12.15 pm. This will be the first time that the exams will be held in the new pattern that was adopted last year. Written exams for regular candidates will be of 40 marks in each paper, except in the case of the second language that will be of 80 marks. Internal scoring for each subject will be out of 20 marks.
T. Chiranjeevulu, commissioner, school education, said, “Candidates will not be allowed into the exam hall after half-hour of commencement of exam. About 144 flying squads have also been constituted to keep vigil.”
The TSTransco has also been asked to ensure continuous power supply to the exam centres. A control room has been set up in the Directorate of School Education to monitor the conduct of exams.
