Game Of Thrones show makers  David Benioff and Dan Weiss have confirmed that the fantasy television series will arrive at the same ending as George R.R. Martin’s final volume in his A Song Of Ice And Fire series. However the bad news is that the author has shared future story arcs with the show’s creators but he’s not written the sixth or seventh books yet.

The show is based on  George R.R. Martin's still unfinished The Song of Ice and Fire book series. According to the
Huffington Post
, show's creator Benioff confirmed that spoilers are most definitely coming soon. "We’ll eventually, basically, meet up at pretty much the same place where George is going," Benioff was quoted. According to the co-creator, there will be parts of the show that stray from the books, as we already know about Season 5's altered storylines and surprising deaths not in Martin's work. "I kind of wish there were some things we didn’t have to spoil, in terms of the books," Benioff continued, "but we’re kind of stuck between a rock and a hard place. The show must go on."

The show is scheduled to run for seven seasons however, HBO rehas earlier revealed that the show might also run beyond 7 seasons. Season 5 is set to premiere on April 12.
