Mumbai: As jokes on Anushka Sharma continue to do the rounds on Twitter, accusing the Bollywood actress for India’s swashbuckling batsman Virat Kohli’s disappointing performance, resulting in Team India’s 95-run semifinal loss in the ICC Cricket World Cup against Australia at the SCG on Thursday, ace Indian tennis sensation Sania Mirza has come out and supported Anushka.

Mirza has shown her support with a sheer ace down the court. The 28-year-old lashed out at fans who went ballistic after Mahendra Singh Dhoni-led Indian Cricket Team crashed out of the World Cup. “Blaming and joking bout Anushka?? Coz a woman can ONLY be a distraction and not a strength? What bout the other times we won or Virat made a 100?” Mirza tweeted.

Mirza also praised the Indian Cricket Team and pointed out that Dhoni and co ‘can’t win everything every time.’
