Leaked images suggest iPhone 6C may sport a 4-inch display
Reportedly iPhone 6C will also deliver features that are presently found in the iPhone 6
It was only last week that it was reported that Apple may launch an iPhone 6C, 6S and 6S Plus by the end of the year, and now images of the iPhone 6C have already been leaked. Attained by Future Supplier, what is believed to be the images of the rear housing of the upcoming iPhone 6C, have been divulged.
The purported image of the iPhone 6C holds quite a similarity to its predecessor, the iPhone 5C. It is the same plastic rear housing, fit for a 4-inch smartphone. However, there are two distinct features that can be noted in this iPhone 6C’s back shell. As against the round flash sported by the iPhone 5C, the leaked image suggests the iPhone 6C to sport an elongated LED Flash like that of an iPhone 5S. Also, the purported iPhone 6C sports two speaker grilles as opposed to the single grille in the iPhone 5C.
Considering the size (4-inch display), the elongated LED flash cutout (suggesting introduction of the True Tone Flash like the iPhone 5S) and the (dual) grilles, we can presume a possibility of the iPhone 6C being on the same lines of the iPhone 5S. Assuming that these images are indeed authentic, the 4-inch iPhone 6C may be good news for people who did not approve of the large sized display of the new iPhone 6.
Additionally, as reported earlier, the iPhone 6C is also speculated to deliver some features that are presently found in the iPhone 6. The 6C will sport NFC and Touch ID support and will be armed with Corning Gorilla Glass display. And on the chipset front, the iPhone 6C is expected to be equipped with an A8 chipset.
