Reportedly, she was quoted saying ‘All men are potential rapist’
Mumbai: Nandita Das known for playing unconventional characters, was reportedly quoted in an interview saying that all men are potential rapists. Apparently, the report in question dates back to November 2013. The excerpt of the article reads: ‘When asked her opinion about men these days, actress Nandita Das replied, ‘Every man is a potential rapist.’’
This certainly didn’t go down well with the Indian masses. Her comment irked the social media fraternity to such an extent that #NanditaDasQuotes started trending. Nandita later tweeted denied the comment and said she is being misquoted.
