Hyderabad: Nalgonda police had to bury the body of slain terror suspect Md. Aslam, as his family members have refused to take his body. Aslam’s family had written to the Madhya Pradesh police saying that they were not ready to accept Aslam’s body as he was responsible for terror acts.
The police and revenue officials as well as the gram panchayat members buried the body in a Muslim graveyard at Narketpally. Earlier, another Simi member Ajajuddin’s body was accepted by his father, who came to Nalgonda with MP police. According to the Narketpally police, the Madhya Pradesh police officers had handed over the letter from Aslam’s family.
“We were given the letter from Aslam's family. We then took permission from higher officials to bury the body. Since the body cannot be sent to his native place in Madhya Pradesh, we had to find a Muslim graveyard in Narketpally,” said a police officer from Narketpally police station.
Ajajuddin and Aslam had killed three police officers and injured four cops and a civilian in two shootouts in Nalgonda.
