Too late for Telangana State EAMCET centres in Andhra Pradesh
The TS government had decided not to entertain the request.
Hyderabad: The Telangana government has decided to reject Andhra Pradesh's request for setting up of TS Eamcet centres in AP. AP had written to its TS counterpart seeking TS Eamcet centres in AP since many students and parents, hailing from TS, were requesting for the same. However, the TS government has decided not to set up any test centres outside Telangana claiming “it is too late to do so.” TS government will officially respond to the AP government in a day or two.
TSCHE chairman Prof T. Papi Reddy had earlier said that the TS government will consider setting up test centres in AP for the convenience of students, if the AP government requested. later, AP higher education department principal secretary Sumita Dawra wrote to TS government requesting for TS Eamcet centres in AP “for the benefit of students and parents hailing from Telangana.”
However, the TS government had decided not to entertain the request.
