Soon, Android Wear to work with iPhones
Google may unveil such an app during the Google’s I/O developers conference
Not long ago, Apple Watch went on sale and the prices literally broke our hearts! When it comes to the smartwatch, unless you are a fancy-snazzy rich brat, you feel quite helpless. Neither can you just go buy an Apple Watch, (because well, hello my empty wallet!) nor do you want to switch to an Android device (well all those rumours about Apple fans being snooty are not entirely false!).
However, there is some good news coming your way. Reportedly, Google is working on a version of Google Wear app that will be compatible with Apple iPhones and iPads. Which means that you will be able to sync an Android wearable to your iOS device. Reports online suggest that Google may unveil such an app during the Google’s I/O developers conference on May 28 or 29.
Assuming that Google really is working on such an app, it’s a great step for the sales and popularity of the Android smartwatch. Apple rules over a large proportion of smartphone users and introduction of such an app will channel a lot of them towards the Android wearable! Off course, this would be quite a boo-boo for the Apple Watch, since the Android smartwatches are a lot more affordable that the former.
