Hyderabad: Four deaths were reported from Hyderabad on Tuesday as rain, thunderstorms and hailstorms continued to  lash Telangana, parts of Rayalaseema and coastal Andhra Pradesh for the third consecutive day.

The body of an unidentified man, around 50 years of age, was found in a flooded canal near the railway track at Tukaram Gate. Police suspects that he might have fallen into the water on Monday night while  walking to a basti located near the Railway quarters.

A seven-year-old boy, Sanju, died after he and another boy fell into a drain while trying to fetch a ball near Arundhathinagar under the  Chatrinaka police station limits. Chatrinaka police said though both of them were rescued almost immediately, Sanju  died after being shifted to the DRDO Hospital in Chatrinaka

In another incident, two brothers died when they accidentally touched a live wire in Alwyn Colony, Miyapur.
