Mumbai: The wait is finally over! For all those of you, who have been wondering when Shah Rukh Khan’s upcoming film ‘Raees’ was going to go on floors, we finally have a lead.
A picture from the shoot location has made its way to the internet. The film that is set in the 1980s era in Ahemdabad also marks the debut of Mahira Khan. Ahmedabad has changed a lot since then in terms of architecture and manner of living and hence an entire new set is being constructed at ‘Film City’ in Mumbai. The team is recreating certain parts of Ahmedabad from that time.

Shah Rukh recently wrapped up the international schedule of his film ‘Fan’ in Croatia, but due to an injury that he sustained while filming there, the actor was advised to take a 15-day break to completely recover.
Shah Rukh also mentioned in an interview that he would shoot a small portion of ‘Raees’ before heading to Goa to shoot for Rohit Shetty’s ‘Dilwale’, after the 15-day break.
