Watch, IPL 8: Chennai Super Kings practice at Wankhede Stadium
Mahendra Singh Dhoni was missed but his boys were energetic
Mumbai: The hottest team of the Indian Premier League came to the Maximum City on Wednesday. Chennai Super Kings – the team that won the title twice and played five finals – hit the Wankhede Stadium for pre-match training ahead of the clash against Mumbai Indians on Friday.
From Ashish Nehra to Ishwar Pandey, every bowler had a go at the nets.
Irfan Pathan, who missed the ticket for the first two matches, looked in shape as he was busy doing a touch-and-go run with Michael Hussey.

The team spread in different clans across the stadium and right from taking high catches to football – they did it all. Brendon McCullum kept batting for more than an hour and even hit three huge sixes that reached the upper tier of the stadium.
Faf du Plessis took time off in between and stood on the sidelines to combat the heat after a rigorous training.
