OnePlus to launch new gadget on April 20

OnePlus, the Chinese manufacturer that caused a huge storm in the smartphone industry with the introduction of the OnePlus One, a premium low-cost, high-end smartphone, is back with a surprise. The OnePlus One was a hit, especially with the price tag, performance, camera quality and build. The One was a huge competition to rival smartphone manufacturers, such as Samsung, LG, Sony and HTC. At present, the manufacturer has only one smartphone under its handset category.

Now the one-year-old Chinese tech giant has openly sent out invitations to an event, which will unveil a new device. Earlier reports stated that the OnePlus Two will see a launch date only in Q2 or Q3. Reddit followers did find the OnePlus One a little too large and wondered if the company will bring in a smaller variant like the rivals follow.

Will it be the One successor (OnePlus Two) with a Snapdragon 810 chipset or will it be a mini version (OnePlus One Mini) of the elder brother?

The OnePlus Two is expected to sport a Snapdragon 810 chipset with 3GB of RAM and a 16MP camera.
