New Delhi: At its first major public rally since its decisive defeat in the Lok Sabha polls 11 months ago, the Congress launched a sharp attack on the BJP government, accusing it of “ignoring the interests of farmers and the poor” and promoting the interests of rich industrialists.

Speaking at the Kisan-khet-mazdoor rally at Ramlila Maidan here, Congress president Sonia Gandhi reminded Prime Minister Narendra Modi of his “sab ka saath” promise in running India.
