Andhra Pradesh CM Chandrababu Naidu not amused by apoa row
Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandra-babu Naidu has reportedly called for an end to the public feud which has erupted between two MPs from his Telugu Desam Party, over the legitimacy of rival bodies, each claiming it is the official Olympic Association of the state.
C.M. Ramesh was elected the president of the APOA here on Sunday, but his party colleague Jayadev Galla dismissed this, saying he heads the legitimate APOA which was elected in Tirupati earlier this month, and is recognised by the Indian Olympic Association.“My election was legitimate,” he said on Sunday. Naidu is believed to have told his MPs to stop sparring in public. He is likely to meet them both in a day or two, according to sources.
