Conquest 2015: BITS Pilani's 11th edition contest for start-ups
Conquest is organised in 5 stages from May to September
Pilani, Rajasthan: BITS Pilani is organising its 11th annual edition of Conquest, the annual start-up challenge which has previously catapulted winners to great heights. Conquest in its last edition offered Rs 3 lakh in equity-less seed money and over $1 million worth of services, licenses and incubation opportunities.
The resource pool for the finalists of Conquest 2015 (cloud computing credits, accounting, sales, marketing, PR etc.) has crossed 2 crores.
The registration process has started since March 31, 2015 and will end on May 1, 2015. Participants can also visit www.conquest.org.in to register themselves for the event.
Conquest is organised through five stages -- online registration, mentoring sessions, groundwork, multimedia pitch, grand finale. Nearly 2,000 applicants, including international participants, took part in the last edition. The mentoring sessions for the Top 50 will be held in five cities across India in July. The Grand Finale will be a Conclave at FICCI Auditorium, New Delhi in September, 2015.
Conquest is not an ordinary challenge where the winner takes it all, say its organisers. Every one at Conquest, from participants to mentors, gain something out of this programme. The 2015 edition will shift its focus to the tier 2 and tier 3 cities of India with nearly 30 organisations acting as channeling partners.
