Xiaomi Mi4 and Xiaomi Mi 4i feature a 13MP rear camera
Touted as a smartphone 'made for India', Xiaomi on April 23, 2015 unveiled the Mi 4i in New Delhi. The new smartphone will be available for purchase from April 30 on Flipkart, Amazon and Snapdeal. It will also be available for store purchase at The Mobile Store and Bharti Airtel.

Display, processor and operating system
Both the Xiaomi Mi 4 and Mi 4i feature a 1080 x 1920 pixel 5-inch IPS LCD screen, with a pixel density of 441ppi. Where the Xiaomi Mi 4 runs on Android v4.4.3 operating system with MIUI 5.0, the Xiaomi Mi 4i runs on Android 5.0.2 Lollipop OS, coupled with MIUI 6.0. The Xiaomi Mi 4i is only available in 16GB storage variant, while the Mi 4 is available in both 16GB and 64GB varaints.
Under the hood, the Xiaomi Mi 4 is powered by a Snapdragon 801 quad-core processor clocked at 2.5GHz, which is coupled with 3GB of RAM and an Adreno 330 GPU. On the other hand, Xiaomi Mi 4i is equipped with a Snapdragon 615 Second Generation 64-bit quad-core 1.7 GHz Cortex-A53 and a quad-core 1.1 GHz Cortex-A53 processors and an Adreno 405 GPU

Camera
On the camera front, Xiaomi Mi 4 and Mi 4i smartphones sport a 13MP primary camera, with LED Flash. With regards to the front-facing camera, the Mi 4 stands tall with its 8MP camera, as compared to the Mi 4i's 5MP snapper. However, features like geo-tagging, touch focus, face/smile detection, panorama, HDR are some new additions to the camera of the Xiaomi Mi 4i.
Battery
In terms of battery life, the newly-launched Xaiomi Mi 4i has a larger battery than the Mi 4 handset. Where the Xiaomi Mi 4 is fuelled with a 3080mAh battery, the Xiaomi Mi 4i is powered by a 3120 mAh battery.
