Salman Khan has a special network: Sonam Kapoor

As she gears up for her red carpet appearances at the Cannes Film Festival in May, Sonam Kapoor shows no signs of the illness she has just recovered from.

“Swine flu sucks all the energy out of you but I feel absolutely fine now. I have been recovering for a long time so I feel good. I love my friends (from the industry) who came by to visit. Swara Bhaskar and Jacqueline Fernandez both visited. Asin was there and she wanted to come. I am really grateful because it’s an infectious disease and they came to meet me…” Sonam shares.

While Sonam was down with swine flu, her co-star from Prem Ratan Dhan Paayo, Salman Khan continued with the shoot all by himself. Sonam tells us that she plays a princess to Salman’s prince, in the movie. Interestingly, while Salman had social media users in a tizzy with photographs and videos from the location, Sonam herself was conspicuously “quiet”.

“I don’t know how he got the network because I didn’t have access!” she tells us, adding with a laugh, “He has got special Salman Khan network! I feel like he manages things like nobody else can.”

A few days ago, pictures of the two actors surfaced on the Internet where they were seen recreating the iconic pose from Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam. “That’s not the scene from Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam,” Sonam clarifies. “It was actually a dance step, which is a part of the song, so it’s nothing like that.”
