Hyderabad: TD president N. Chandrababu Naidu on Monday night refuted the criticism made against him by TRS chief K. Chandrasekhar Rao.

“Mr Rao had no moral scruples and resorted to buying TD MLAs like cattle,” he said. Mr Naidu was participating in a function to appoint Rajendranagar MLA Prakash Goud as RR district party chief, following the defection of Mr M. Kishen Reddy to the TRS.

Mr Naidu said. “He (Mr Rao) should know his origins. He was trained here (in the TD). He tutored TD cadres on speaking. Now he has started criticising me and tutoring me.”

Mr Naidu dared Mr Rao to get the defector MLAs elected in byelections instead of admitting them unscrupulously.
