Hyderabad: With traffic bottlenecks becoming one of the difficult problems despite numerous flyovers across the city, the GHMC is working on a plan which might work as a breather to ease the traffic problem to some extent.
Senior officials’ state that GHMC is working on a plan to constitute a committee to tackle the problem of religious structures delaying road widening and other road-related projects in the city.
“The committee will have leaders of various religious institutions in the city who can help GHMC in finding a solution,” said a senior GHMC official.
As per data, around 30 road-widening projects are pending for over three years in GHMC city limits for the same reason.
