Lucknow: A police inspector in Kanpur has lost his pet dog and the entire police station is desperately hunting for the missing dog. Police inspector Prabhunath Saroj is posted at the Radar police station but stays in Malviya Nagar in Kanpur that falls under Barra area.
He had a German Shepherd named “Tiger” that he had brought from Ballia three years ago. The dog went missing on Saturday and a medical store owner in the area informed him that he had seen some boys take the dog in an auto towards Govind Nagar.
The inspector’s wife Shakuntala informed her husband about the incident, who in turn, took up the matter with SO, Barra police station Ram Babu and lodged a missing complaint about the dog. The locals alleged that the inspector was misusing his position to trace his dog.
