Launch details of BlackBerry Venice Android phone revealed

BlackBerry may soon make its presence felt in the Android market this year. Latest reports state that BlackBerry's Venice will run on an Android operating system, and it will sport a 18MP camera. Images of Venice have already gone viral on 'Weibo' - Chinese social media site. 

The soon-to-be-launched BlackBerry Venice may sport a 5.4-inch (2560 x 1440 pixels) and will be powered by an 1.8GHz octa-core processor, coupled with 3GB of RAM. A report by the Mobile World Live has also revealed that the BlackBerrys Venice Android handset will be loaded with Google PlayStore, including the BlackBerry Hub message centre. 

 

 

 

A report by Know Your Mobile states that the Venice Slider handset could probably be equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 chipset. This slider phone is also expected to be fuelled with a 3,650mAh battery. The smartphone is likely to be launched in November 2015.
