Akshay-Sidharth starrer 'Brothers' release date is out!
The film produced by Karan Johar also features Jacqueline Fernandez
Mumbai: Karan Johar's ‘Brothers’ is all set to hit the theatres on the Independence Day weekend.
Directed by Karan Malhotra, ‘Brothers’ stars Akshay Kumar, Sidharth Malhotra and Jacqueline Fernandez.
"The Producer-Director duo of #Agneepath returns with #Brothers on 14th August. Excited much," reads a post of the film's Twitter page.
This film marks Malhotra's third reunion with Johar after ‘My Name Is Khan’, where he acted as an assistant director and also in ‘Agneepath’. Jacqueline revealed in an interview that her role in the the film was even more challenging and different from the character she played in the Ranbir Kapoor and Arjun Rampal starrer 'Roy'.
'Brothers' is said to be an official remake of the 2011 Hollywood film 'Warrior', which starred Joel Edgerton and Tom Hardy in the lead.
