IPL 8: ‘I hate you Sir,’ Shah Rukh Khan to commentator
Bollywood star, co-owner of KKR expressed displeasure to a comment made by an analyst
Mumbai: Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and Chennai Super Kings lashes are no less than Bollywood money-spinners. Why wouldn’t it be? After all, one of the biggest movie stars from India (Shah Rukh Khan) co-owns one team and one of the most successful Indian cricket captain (Mahendra Singh Dhoni) leads the other.
But when KKR needed two runs off a ball to clinch the match, a commentator (doing his usual job) said that a wicket then could turn the tide. It didn’t go well with Khan for personal reasons.

Keeping the diplomacy aside, he tweeted: “KKR batting. Last two balls. 1 run to win. & commentator says now batsman should get out! Without any malice I want to say “I hate u sir!”
However, he clarified that there is no malice or hatred. It just seemed that a young KKR fan’s wings were obstructed during anxious moments and he retaliated.
Otherwise, Khan and all commentators have enjoyed a brilliant rapport.

The commentators keep changing during a cricket match. When Andre Russell hit the winning runs, the panel comprised David Lloyd and Danny Morrison.
