Sonam Kapoor ditches long tassels for Neerja Bhanot's biopic
The actress recently began shooting for the film
Mumbai: A few days back, Sonam Kapoor took off with her next project, a biopic titled ‘Neerja’. The film is about the brave heart flight stewardess Neerja Bhanot, who lost her life saving hundreds of passengers during the 1986 hijack of PanAm in Karachi.
Sonam who usually sports long tassels, ditched them for a short hairdo. This picture with Boman Irani where she is sporting a bob cut adds a refreshing twist to her on screen character. This new hairstyle has managed to make the actress look a few years younger.

The film will also see Shabana Azmi playing Sonam’s mother in the film. ‘Neerja’ will highlight their mother-daughter relationship. The film also marks ace photographer Atul Kasbekar’s debut as a producer.
