Moga molestation case: Kin refuse to cremate girl, want bus permit cancelled

Chandigarh: The family of teenage girl, who was killed in Moga when thrown out of the bus by her molesters, on Friday refused to cremate her body, till the administration fulfil their demand of compensation and cancel the permit of the company of the bus, the company is owned by Badal family.

The family of the girl is sitting outside civil hospital, Moga. The family has got support of political parties, farmer oragnisations and civil society activists. Both the Congress and AAP leaders are also sitting with family in protest.

Earlier in the day, both the Congress and AAP staged demonstrations outside Bagga Purana police station and demanded case to be registered against the owner of the company.
AAP MP Bagwant Mann who led the demonstration demanded cancellation of the company license.

However, there were also  reports that the family rejected a compensation of '20 lakh, and a government job for her mother, who too was molested and pushed out of the bus and free treatment for her.
