Nara Lokesh: Telugu Desam Party men didn’t pay donation
He said 534 TD workers had died in accidents, but he could reach out to only 49 families

Hyderabad: A report submitted to the TD politburo by Nara Lokesh on Saturday stated that many party leaders who promised to donate for the welfare of party workers families did not actually pay up.
Mr Lokesh, coordinator for the TD Party Welfare Fund, said in the report that several TD leaders had promised to donate Rs 14 crore during the last Mahanadu, but only Rs 4 crore had been paid so far.
Mr Lokesh said 534 TD workers had died in accidents, but he could reach out to only 49 families. Later, talking to reporters, Mr Lokesh on Saturday confirmed that he would be meeting US President Barack Obama on May 7 as also the Governors of several US states during his 10-day trip starting Sunday.
